School meals are cooked on the premises and we are fortunate in having a large dining room adjacent to the kitchen.
All children take their dinner money in a named envelope to their teachers on the first day of the week, and there is a set charge for a two course meal plus a drink. They have a variety of meals to choose from each day. You are welcome to pay for school dinners by cheque, but please make all cheques payable to Wrexham County Borough Council.
Children are also allowed to bring a packed lunch, but NO glass containers please. Flasks need to be carefully packed.
The children are supervised during the lunch hour by the senior midday supervisor and a number of dining room assistants.
If you think your child might be entitled to a free school meal, please contact either the School Secretary, or the School Meals Section, Education and Leisure Services, Tŷ Henblas, Queen’s Square, Wrexham.
Children may go home for dinner, but parents should make sure that their child’s class teacher is aware of this arrangement.
